Hi, I’m Sarah. My work is all about creating honest, artful images that feel like your life — imperfect, beautiful, and full of depth. I focus on connection, movement, and emotion, capturing the moments that unfold naturally rather than forcing what doesn’t feel like you.
Whether it’s a wedding day or a quiet afternoon with your family, I’m here to preserve the pieces you never want to forget.

Photoshoots with little ones don’t have to feel stressful. With a little preparation and a lot of grace, we can create an experience that feels calm, comfortable, and full of real smiles. The biggest key is choosing a session time that works with your child’s natural rhythm. A well-rested kid is a happy kid, so don’t worry if that means shooting a bit earlier or later than planned — their comfort always comes first.
Snacks are your best friend, too. Bringing a few small, non-messy favorites like puffs, pretzels, or fruit snacks can make a huge difference when your child needs a quick reset. Avoid anything sticky or brightly colored so we can keep outfits looking clean and natural.
Giving your little one small choices can also help them feel excited instead of overwhelmed. Let them choose between two outfits, pick a bow or pair of shoes, or bring one special toy that makes them feel confident. Kids love feeling involved, and it helps set a positive tone before we even begin.
A gentle heads-up before the session goes a long way. You don’t need to over-explain — a simple, upbeat line like, “We’re going to meet my friend Sarah. She takes pictures and plays fun games with us,” keeps the focus on fun without adding pressure. When they know what to expect, kids relax so much more easily.
Comfort matters, too. Dress them in soft, well-fitting outfits they can move in without fussing. If something feels itchy, tight, or annoying, they won’t be able to ignore it — and it’ll show in the photos.
Most importantly, try to give yourself plenty of time when getting ready. Rushing can create tension before the session even starts, so a little buffer time can completely change the energy of your day. And once we begin, remember that wiggles, pauses, and big feelings are all completely normal.
You don’t have to worry about directing or managing every moment — that’s my job. Your only job is to love on your people and enjoy being together. I’ll take care of the rest, and we’ll make something beautiful out of whatever the day brings.
